Another little butterfly

This is another butterfly that the gentleman from the Japanese Tatting Association wanted a pattern for. It was one from my old Dora Young website.

When I bought her tatting shuttle collection a few years ago, her grandson also gave me lots of other things that once belong to Dora. One of my favorite things was a small box that contained lots of different butterflies. Dora must have had a thing for color, because all of the butterflies are bright with contrasting colors. The original butterfly seems to have flown away. I know it will show up again sooner or later. So I did my best to figure out this pattern from a very hazy picture I had saved.

If anyone can identify the original author please let me know. So I can credit them here.

It's another piecy pattern like the big butterfly. I just did my best to make it simple.

  4. Oh, he will put all those patterns in "his" new book! Or has he invited you to teach in Japan? Be careful, you will not get the treatment and freedom due to an american or european woman!
